STEPHANIE WALKER

Lacrosse - 2008

STEPHANIE WALKER graduated from Corning East High in 2002 after spending four impressive years on the  Lady  Trojans  varsity  lacrosse  team.  She  played  a  major  part  in  the  success  of  East's  program  from  her midfielder position where she took advantage of her tremendous speed and just ran by defenses. She finished her career with 211 goals and 61 assists and capped her high school career by being named AllAmerican. Three times Stephanie was named to the AllSection and AllLeader team. She took her talents to Syracuse University on a scholarship where they switched her to defense and she was named to the AllBig East second team twice. Stephanie only played two seasons at SU before transferring to Elmira College. Upon her arrival at Elmira, she was switched back to midfield where she was once again a strong offensive force. Stephanie was twice named to the Empire 8 AllLeague first team. She is currently graduate assistant coach at SUNY Brockport
