Lacrosse - 2007
COLLEEN CRANE graduated from Corning East in 2000 and was one of the pioneers for the girls lacrosse program at the school. As a freshman, she was a member of the very first girls varsity lacrosse team and immediately proved to be an impact player for a very young and talented team. Following that first year, Colleen was one of the stalwarts of the East team that proceeded to make it to the state regional tournament the next two years and a final four appearance during her senior season. She scored over 130 goals during her four year career at East, tacking on another 32 assists. Colleen was named to the All-Leader team twice, the All-Section Four team twice and during her senior year, she was named to the NYS All-Tournament team. Following graduation, Colleen took her talents to St. Bonaventure, a school that was just beginning its sojourn into Division I Ladies lacrosse. Her name dots the record books for the Lady Bonnies with top ten finishes in career goals and assists. Colleen is not done with her pioneering chores for ladies lacrosse, as she has begun the girls lacrosse program at Bath's Haverling High School, where she is currently a physical education teacher.
